Back with some drama.

Back in September I made myself a challenge to get a bit more inspired to write stuff - you know those lists of word prompts that a lot of writers on LJ have? Well, I made my own one by going through a dictionary and picking a random word for each letter and 6 months after starting the first one (and then encountering uni work, life, writing blocks, other plot-bunnies (which are coming, slowly), and just generally other things to get distracted with), here's the first result: inspired by L for Leprechaun.
Title: Gold
Fandom: Spinal Tap
Rating: 12
Genre: Drama, Romance
Pairing: David/Nigel
Word Count: 5539
Warnings: Slash, 'mild peril' (because I always wanted to use that term!)
Author's Notes: Set at some point before the tour in the film, and inspired by the word 'Leprechaun' from my DIY dictionary challenge. I wasn't planning on quite so much drama in this, but it just seemed to fall out of my hands as I was typing. Feedback welcome as always.
Summary: Where’s the fun in not bothering with dreams just because they’d never come true, anyway?
